I paint with high quality, durable oil based paint.

All my paintings are on professional canvas on a wooden frame.
The flanks/sides are also painted, so there is no need to put it in a frame.
The standard size I normally use for a single portrait is 50 (W) x 60 (H) cm., but every other size is possible.

Please be aware that the quality of the picture is very important for the final result.
The best picture is the one that is taken with light coming from the site of the object, not directly from the front.
Focussing and colours are important to. Details like colours of the eyes and shape of the mouth can “make or brake” a portrait.
Use daylight or electrical light instead of flashlight.
Attention: Detailed background can make a painting chaotic.
Most of the times it’s better to use dark, non-detailed backgrounds.
If necessary I would be pleased to give you advise on that.

If you are still sitting on your chair upon receipt of my offer, I will do my very best to fill in all your wishes and guaranty you a unique painting you will enjoy for the rest of your life.
Please be aware of the fact that a painting in oil colours is not ready in a day and has to dry for a few weeks before the final varnish can be applied.
Normally a medium size painting is ready for delivery after about 8 weeks.
